Trying to decide whether or not to send a car with your student to BYU?
Now you don't have to send a car for your student to have access to one. BYU's Car Sharing program through Hertz on Demand is the answer. Car sharing gives students 24-hour access to a rental car with low hourly rates.
Rates start at just $9 an hour or $70 per day plus tax. The rental rate includes gas, insurance, GPS navigation, and 24-hour road side assistance. There are no startup fees, so you pay as you go. It's a deal that's hard to beat.
To qualify for the car sharing program, students must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license. It's simple and there are no membership or sign up fees!
After registering at www.hertz247.com, you will receive a key fob/card in the mail.
To activate your fob/card you must bring it and your valid driver's license to BYU Purchasing and Travel located in C-40 ASB.
